Did you know that more people were sacked on the RSS Discovery than actually died? In actual fact only one person died and two were fired. The two that lost their jobs were cooks but I do not know why they were sacked. I doubt that it was for their cooking abilities as they seemed to eat rather well on the voyage with fresh meat often. Even if they fell short of fresh meat they could always slaughter a seal which would feed the whole crew for a day or two!

At last it arrived and a cheque to cover postage. It took two months but in the end the christmas present is now in order.

However it does seem strange that the main unit had many fingerprints and one pad in particlular (one of the cymbals) had deep marks. Everything was sealed so this implies that it came “as is” from RedOctane. I know they have had serious problems with the drum kit on Guitar Hero World Tour and I suspect that many items are being returned, and then repackaged once checked - not very nice!

Should have gone to Amazon! They even phone you back these days from a simple button on their site that you click and put in your number - they get back immediately - it’s taken Game a while!

Game have just been in touch to say that the bundle can be returned by post but no mention of who pays the postage!

If it had been bought online they would have had to post it out, then back to them and out again - all at their expense. It makes you wonder what use shops are these days?

Game should replace it immediately. If they don’t I would take them to court as it would come under the small claims court!

No John Angus the shop in Edinburgh simply refused to deal with it passing it over to customer support who eventually said it had to be returned to the shop - catch 22.

Surely any company can deal with such a problem using post or carrier - are you sure there is not something else causing the problem?

It is a while since I bought anything other than groceries and booze from a shop. All the expensive items are bought online and I too prefer to use Amazon.co.uk and have had no problems returning faulty items by freepost.

I always use Amazon and would avoid companies like Game if they have this sick attitude problem. However, surely the company has a responsibility to replace the product? I would contact the C.A.B. immediately.

That was attempted but the part which is damaged can not be replaced by them and whichever way you fill in their forms it always finishes by advising that it be returned to the store from which it was purchased.
