Tip 1 – Most of the holiday homes for rent in Ireland are owned by private individuals and so the standard in which they are maintained can vary greatly from one property to the next. If you are considering renting a holiday home for your next vacation then do so through a reputable agent who requires and insists on high standards of maintenance and care on the properties they have on their books.

Tip 2 – You should be aware that when it comes to renting a holiday home the dates on which you are able to rent them will vary from if you were selecting to stay in a hotel. Most rental agreements will run from Saturday to Saturday and there are very few who can offer alternatives to this. Plus you need to be aware that you will not be able to get until the property until around mid afternoon as this provides the agents with enough time to get the property prepared for your visit.

Tip 3 – The price at which a property is rented out at is not based often based on the size and quality of the accommodation, but rather on where it is located and when you are looking to stay in it. If you would like to get a good deal on good quality accommodation you may find opting for a property in a less popular part of Ireland is the best choice.

Tip 4 – When you have found your ideal holiday home and you want to make sure that you get it, and then you may need to book it well in advance of your vacation dates. Often doing this may save you money, but be prepared to hand over a deposit to the agency to ensure that the accommodation is held for you and no one else can then book it.

Tip 5 – It is important that you know exactly what is included in the price for renting the property before you make your booking. Most rental agreement prices cover all amenities such as heating, electricity and bed linen plus other items that one would expect in a home. However, you may discover that if you want to say bring your pet on holiday with you then a further fee will be charged for doing so.

Tip 6 – When you are looking to save money on your holiday home it is a good idea to try and arrange it for a time when there are going to be less visitors to the area. However, you may find some places, which offer their accommodation at a more reasonable price even during high season simply because they are located in areas that are less popular with visitors.

Above we have provided you with a few tips to help you when it comes to finding the right type of Irish holiday homes for your next vacation to this beautiful part of the world. It is also through the tips provided you may find that you are actually able to save some money as well.
